Rise Above, named after a Black Flag song, is about: hand-drawing, black ink, rock music, skateboarding, childhood memories, pubs, vinyl records, friends, losing, laughing, old comics, TV shows, space landscapes, gigs, punks, black coffee, typography, paper, books, toys, psychedelia, monsters, feltpens, engravings, my messy room and more.
All this stuff is the illustrations side-project of Marcello Crescenzi, a 28-year-old graphic designer born, raised and based in Rome, Italy.
